I had two fun events this week, the first being the potluck depicted on today's scrapbook page. The second was last night's social knitting on the lawn where the guild meets during the age of COVID. This wasn't a regular guild meeting, this was the first instance of this year's Summer Camp. Which is very much like guild but we don't take attendance and there isn't a raffle. During the meeting I finished knitting a cute baby hat and handed it off to Judith to distribute with her next donation of baby hats.
The only other significant departure from routine this week was a trip to the eye doctor for our annual exams. As I suspected, my prescription changed so I have new distance and computer glasses on order through Zenni. They should arrive sometime next month.
There's no new mom news other than she's well and looking forward to our planned visit on Memorial Day.
Our van is still in the shop and a replacement for the replacement part is on order. That should arrive early next week. In the meantime, our repair guy lent us his van so that we could return the rental van. Three weeks of car rental is expensive so I'm glad to not have to pay for the past week.
