jebra went north to see his folks while I stayed home with Fiona and my crochet. I'm feeding half a can of cat food twice a day plus as much dry food as she wants when she wants. I think she's gaining weight but as she hates being picked up, it is hard to say for certain. Her behavior seems typical for her speedy and skittish self.

I talked to my mom over the weekend and she was doing well although not taking COVID-19 as seriously as I would like. Her sorority met in one of the member's homes and stayed mask except during lunch, but still. Twenty-two people squished together in two not-very-large rooms?

Last night was the knitting guild's social zoom. Less than a dozen of us but it was fun and the major topic of discussion was the yarn sale at Twisted Fiber Art and how much fun it was. And how many of us went back to their website to consider buying even more yarn. I'm still thinking about it as I have doubts that the yarn I picked on Sunday will work well for the pattern I had in mind.
