The days go by at the usual pace but weeks seem to take forever during this time of social isolation. jebra and I are still well (knock wood) and still going in to the office Monday through Friday.
Saturday would have been the monthly SEMGS meeting but thanks to the stay at home order (and probably us being sensible people even without it) we switched to Zoom for Virtual SEMGS. This was my first time using Zoom and it was kinda fun. It also proved to me that I suck at true multi-tasking as it took me nearly three hours to get through the hour of whatever it was I was watching. One of my somebody murdered somebody else shows. I'd either lose track of what my friends were saying or I'd have to rewind to catch what I missed on the show. I also found myself wishing that there was a rewind feature to Zoom as there were times I wasn't sure what I'd heard and wanted to go back and hear it again. It was really nice to see the faces of friends though. I may be a perfect introvert, but even so I miss seeing people.
One of the things I was thinking about over the weekend is whether hoarders are going to die of COVID-19 more often than non-hoarders. People keep talking about disinfecting surfaces to stay safe; no hoarder I have ever seen has a counter that can washed down without requiring hours of work clear its surface first.
There is no mom news this week. I called her this morning and she's fine but quite sick of staying home. No updates on any of my siblings either. Come to think of it, I haven't seen them on facebook either, not that I bother to login more than once or twice a week.
