When [personal profile] jebra learned I had never seen the movie versions of South Pacific nor Seven Brides for Seven Brothers he took me to the Redford. In between the shows we played a little Ingress in the neighborhood and had lunch at Sweet Potato Sensations. This time I tried their Sweet Potato Belgian waffles (which were very good) plus I ordered apple pie with vanilla ice cream for desert. The pie was outstanding and just what I'd been craving.

Sunday was scheduled to be laundry day, but with Ingress double point season upon us, we went out for a few hours to play while the washer was doing its thing on one of the big loads. It was cold and the ground was occasionally slippery from the ice and snow we'd had earlier in the week, but played well and I earned a heck of a lot of game points. I'm not yet back up to Level 8 but I am making progress and hope to be there soon. I'm looking foward to being able to use my L8 bursters again.

In mom news, she's doing well. She's at home and bored, but other than that she had no complaints.

Yesterday I brought a bag of cat beds in to work to photograph. In adding the current batch to my projects on Ravelry I discovered that the set is Hamish Cat Beds #593 - 600. Six hundred cat beds, wow. Clearly I am a a crazy cat bed making machine!
