I'm a day early, but what the heck. The page is ready and I have a bit of free time now.
I talked to my mom the other day, she sounded like she was in a great mood and feeling fine. She also had no idea what tests had been run on her the day before, nor why. She wasn't concerned and my brother Rob and his wife keep a close eye on her, so I'm reluctant to interfere.
Jebra's folks are back in Florida and he's not mentioned anything, so I assume all is well there too.
Cat bed production continues although I took Sunday off from cat beds to make the objects Jebra requested for band. I don't know what to call them; they look like drink coasters in two sizes, 8" and 4" and he'll use them to change the sound of the timpani and maybe other drums. Beats me. I'm no musician. I also made him a pair of shields for between cymbal straps and his hands. This is an experiment; he doesn't know how thick he wants them nor the exact size. The samples are around four-and-a-half inches across. I was looking forward to him trying them out at band yesterday only practice was canceled on account of the weather. We were both disappointed although I was relieved to not have him driving around during the first snowstorm of the season. heck, we saw where one guy hauling a trailer ran off the road and into a ditch on our way in, and when we got here we learned our co-worker Jeff had been rear-ended on his way in. His vehicle came through fine, but his trailer hitch did a significant amount of damage to the car that collided with him.
Knitting Guild meets tonight and is hosting the 2nd Annual Knitters Pop-up 'Baa'-zaar. I don't know if I will buy anything (I rather hope not even though the vendors are my fellow guild members) but I know I will enjoy browsing their wares.
