This has been a fairly quiet week although Monday caught me quoting [profile] maddic24's about it being "the Mondayest of Mondays." Lots of annoying little things going wrong for me and at least one of our clients (we had a nice conversation about it too).

The kittens are growing, or at least Pandez is. Esme won't return to a vet for about six months, but Pandez had to go in for his second round of shots and a rabies vaccine. He's 4 lbs 1 oz, the same weight as our cat carrier. I wonder how big he'll get as his ears still seem quite large to me. I'm looking forward to him growing up and calming down. Last night I was in my home office making user my external drives were mounted (we had a power hit while we were at work) and the little brat decided to launch himself at my back with his claws extended. I eeeped at the unexpected blow (it was hard enough to jolt me forward) but whatever he was trying to do probably didn't work as he bounced off my back and fell to the floor. Neither of us were injured but it was not a pleasant experience.

Before being assaulted by Pandez, I was at the final "Summer Camp" session of the Black Sheep Knitting Guild and the final meeting at the Huntington Woods Public Library. We move to a church basement in September. I can't think of the name of the place although I can visualize it quite well as it is not only an Ingress portal but it is only a mile from our house.

In mom news, there isn't any yet. She had some medical testing earlier this week and said she'd call when she knew more. No calls yet, and mine to her have gone to voice-mail.
