Fiona, by the way, does not appear to enjoy being any only child. And I still miss Hamish like crazy. It is still amazing to me how quiet the house is without him. We leave a week from today, which is why even if adopt Pandez tonight he won't be coming home with us immediately. I do not want a kitten running loose in my house unsupervised for more than eight hours at a stretch. Not out of fear of what mischief he or she will cause, but for concern for his or her well-being.
In mom news, she's currently at my sister's place down in the Carolinas and having a wonderful time seeing my sister, her grandchildren, and enjoying the swimming pool.
