It is cottonwood pollen season here. My eyes itch, as do my ear canals. I got very little sleep last night and I'm extremely tired today. I'm having trouble stringing two thoughts together let alone recall what we've been up to over the course of the week.

My mom called late one night; not sure if that was Sunday or Monday. Whichever it was, she was excited about leaving for her six week stay with my sister KC. I thought she was already there, but no, she was in Michigan hanging out with her church, sorority, and Red Hat friends. And her brother (not to mention his wife and their grandkids, who were having their high school graduation and graduation party).

The FCB had its first concert of the summer season on Thursday. The music was really good and I enjoyed it a great deal. I worked on a chemo cap as I sat in the audience (that is not the hat on today's page). Friday night [personal profile] jebra took me to Joann Fabrics to buy blue yarn for one of the knitting guild's summer projects, #HATNOTHATE.

It is allergy season here big time. We're having tons of rain, so the mold and mildew is everywhere, and all the grasses, trees, and flowers are running riot.

So you have my empathy.
