On Saturday, jebra and I went to see Singin' in the Rain on the big screen at the Redford. I'd seen the movie two or three times before, but I think this was the first time on the big screen. It did not disappoint. In the evening, jebra went off somewhere and Is stayed home to crochet and spend time on my exercise bike. I finished off one cat bed (which appears to be Hamish's current favorite, as he's spending a lot of time curled up inside it) and started the next. I've lost count of what number bed I'm on, but it doesn't really matter as I will be able to figure it out after they go through the wash and I take them in to the office to photograph and record. jebra is still ticked off at Anthrocon for under-appreciating my work so I don't need to make a cat bed for the charity auction. Turns out that Anthrocon's powers-that-be don't want to auction anything that won't justify an opening bid of $100 so that's one thing off my list. Indy Fur Con will be the next recipient of my work; I'm trying to slow down on crochet and spend more time on knitting and cleaning the house. Oh, and yard work. If the weather is good this weekend, lj user="jebra" site="livejournal.com"> tells me we will tear out the old herb garden and replace it with the keyhole Garden we picked up from Costco. I've been interested in keyhole gardens for a few years so I'm eager to try one out for myself. If you are curious, you can see the page at Costco here. I suspect whatever I end up planting in it will never look as good.
