Friday after work we went home long enough to feed the cats and pack for the weekend, then it was back into the van for the drive down to Pendleton, Indiana. The drive was fine, as far as I know. I plugged my earphones into my phone and played an episode of Crime in Sports. Note I say played not listened, since I tend to doze while listening and miss a heck of a lot of the story. I think it took me four tries to get through a single episode when we went up for Eric's wedding.

We didn't do any visiting on Friday, just checked into our motel and got ready for bed. We spent all of Saturday with the family, meaning my brother-in-law, his wife, the youngest nephew (who is in his second year of college) and the niece, who along with her husband, were also in town for the weekend. We had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner (Turkey, rolls, mashed potatoes, green beans, some baked sweet potato concoction, fruit (pineapple, watermelon, grapes), olives, cheese & crackers, and a metric ton of deserts.

Sunday we went back to the house for a few hours before heading home. The drive was thankfully uneventful and then when we reached Southfield, stopped to connected with a friend (and former band-mate) who was herself in town for the weekend.

Monday was back to work and Physical Therapy. Tuesday was work and a bone density scan, and this morning was my final physical therapy session, unless the doctor orders more when I see him next week.
