This was a pretty good week. I knocked out two cat beds, went to a party and talked with people, worked on my scarf for a few hours during Sunday's concert, and vicariously enjoyed the wedding jebra celebrated on Saturday. I wasn't there as we didn't know the bridal couple or have any connection to their family other than through the celebrant. He had an awesome time as he was seated with Jim Begian (Armenian Dances was dedicated to Harry Begian, Jim's brother). The party was a two-fer, the wedding celebration plus birthday party for Jim. When jebra heard there was going to be Armenian music played, he remembered his doumbek was still in the van and was encouraged to go and get it. So he not only got to perform the marriage ceremony but had fun drumming at the reception too.
