Project 52

(If the images refuse to load, you should be able to see them in new tabs by clicking here and here.)

After three miserable weeks, my sciatica stopped as suddenly as it started. I woke up Monday morning and realized it didn't hurt as I got out of bed and began moving to the bedroom door. I can't attribute this to my new brace as I won't have it for another week or two. I do wonder if this is one of my body and brain's practical jokes — I can't tell you how often when I was in in K-12 I could not grasp something and would trudge up to the teacher's desk only to realize the answer as I stood there waiting for him or her to notice me. Sometime before bed I'd had the idea to look up pain medicines I can take with my prescriptions and thought I'd stop at Walgreens on the way to work in the morning. I haven't bought any since pain is no longer bothering me past the point I can ignore it (and because the bottle of naproxen at the office expired in 2013 and the one at home is almost as old and I don't want to be stuck with more pills that will be long past their prime when I take them).
