No commentary this week because the scrapbook page revealed pretty much everything I've been doing and/or thinking about. The only thing I know it didn't mention is that my mom looks great but reports feeling extremely depressed. She hates not being allowed to drive and not being able to go out and do things and see people. She's also still having memory issues. On Sunday we found out that she's been without internet for a a solid week. She remembered doing something to the internet before she left for Las Vegas but couldn't remember what. Turned out there was no power to her home office -- the breaker switch was thrown. She also couldn't find her iPad and had us hunt through the house for it. I found one on the side table, under a book, next to where she usually sits. She wasn't sure that was the one she was looking for as it may have been the old one she no longer uses. But she wasn't sure which one it was (she couldn't describe it) and it was fully powered, so maybe it was the right one after all? It's all troubling and I have no ideas about how to help her. Living two-and-a-half to three hours away means I can't just pop in a couple of times a week to keep her company and make sure she's having at least a little fun.
