I am happy to report it was a quiet week with no new car trouble.
Saturday was a day of laundry and crochet followed by a bit of shopping and Ingress.
Sunday was, as far as I can recall, breakfast followed by a drive out to Northville to do the missions there. When we got to main street we saw it was blocked off by some sort of street festival. Which was funny to us because on Friday, after work, we thought we'd go to the Troy Civic Center to play and it was filled with traffic for the Troy Days celebration. I didn't want to contend with the crowd so we didn't play at Troy Civic, but in Northville there was still plenty of parking and our first missions were on the edge of town. By the time we were back to the center the event was over and the rides & booths were in the process of being packed up. It was very hot, high 80s if not into the 90s and that made walking around for the missions slow and painful. We finished six of the twelve mission set and called it a day. With a bit of luck we will return this weekend to finish the remaining six missions.
