So the sponge should be wet, the microwave door should be closed, remove the silverware from the sponge, and remove pets, children or users empty skull before engaging microwave? And stop if you see smoke or flame?

Who knew! Gosh, they should be more specific!

Gosh, the directions say I can use the microwave to heat up my mulled wine. I'll just place the bottle inside and push for 15 minutes...

And we wonder why the box of poptarts ask one to remove the packaging before heating.
