This felt like a really busy week but when I sat down to make today's page I couldn't figure out why. I checked my photo collection and google calendar and neither one revealed anything that took place during the week. The weekend, now that was a whirlwind. Saturday started off with a tea party and ended with a trip down through Detroit for dinner with another set of friends. The tea party was fun but wasn't at all what I was expecting. I missed the last two due to scheduling conflicts and while I was gone it morphed from a girls' tea party (with tea dresses, lace, and fancy hats) to an afternoon version of one of Sharon's parties with tea instead of mulled wine or spiced cider. I had fun but it wasn't the same. On the bright side, I didn't feel awful about having to leave only an hour and half after arriving. We had to be home by 5 pm to be picked up for dinner. Rather than take a bunch of cars we took just one minivan. The ride, the company, the beer, and the food were excellent. In fact, the food was so good I gave serious consideration to returning the next night.
Sunday afternoon was the young composers concert at Oakland University and the debut of two pieces written by one of
Scrapbook papers & elements from the kit The Best Is Yet To Come.
