I've been working on this scrap afghan for the last few weeks. Other than running it through the washer and tucking in any loose ends, it's finished.

Thank you! I was worried about how it would turn out -- it truly is a scrap afghan and I was worried that the combination of colors would not be good. I think combining yarns (each stitch is made with two lengths of yarn) helped the colors blend better than they would have if I'd used each color independently. I also find it interesting how well some of the colors work together. I suspect this will lead to further experimentation -- but not immediately. I hear my stash of cross-stitch supplies calling to me.

Yes, it is. Ironically, it is bigger than I'd intended in the width department, but not as long as I'd hoped for in length. I suspect its eventual owner will end up rotating it 90 degrees from the orientation I'd wanted. Oh well -- it not only used up the scraps, but at a double thickness, it's *very* warm.
