All my sympathy to you. It seems like Just Too Much that on top of all the cleaning and hauling, you have to spend time in a laundromat.

Our trash was picked up last week right on schedule (Wednesday morning), but this week's is still sitting at the curb. There's not much on my street (oddly enough, most of it is yard waste), but it's heartbreaking to drive along nearby streets and see how much of their possession people have to throw away.

Oh no, I am a bigger pain in the ass friend than you credit me for -- I am beating the snot out of Gini's washer and dryer. I am washing three to five full loads every night and am not all that close to being done. Even though we will have hot water starting tomorrow it seems pointless to wash stuff in a contaminated environment. Not to mention clothing in the basement that escaped the flood have nevertheless picked up the horrible smell…
