The Hip Hop Version Of Shakespeare: Devon Glover

When I flipped on the tv this morning the station was set to MSNBC (probably because I was once again up too late watching Lockup: Raw). I caught the end of an interview with Devon Glover, and then heard him rap Shakespeare's Sonnet 18. I'm not a huge fan of rap, in part because I usually have trouble making out the lyrics. I remember from high school that English in Shakespeare's time was different than ours and it was often difficult to understand, but that wasn't the case here. I could clearly hear the words and it was interesting listening.

I doubt I'll buy his CD, but if you're interested in learning more, check out http://www.thesonnetmannyc.com/
