Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' The Heist. I love the CD; it isn't often that every time a new track starts I think "No, *this* is my favorite track." And it isn't as though I just got the disk today. I've been playing it for weeks. Even more embarrassing is just how much I spend thinking about meeting Macklemore and what I might say if that ever happened. He and Ryan Lewis have amazing talent but I think what I like best is the politics of their music. I hope success doesn't warp their values or mess up Macklemore's sobriety.

No, you most assuredly are not alone in this. I spend an unseemly amount of time thinking about them (and especially Ben since his lyrics are fundamental to the group). I keep thinking "I'm 53 for crying out loud. Why am I obsessing about him like this?!"

I adore them! I have the CD on my wishlist, but I keep buying the singles off Amazon one at a time because every new one is like "I love it, I need to have it!"

I recommend getting the CD directly from Macklemore's website. There is not a bad track on the disk -- if anything it's made me want to check out their earlier work.
