Yesterday LJ sent me a notice that you'd sent me a virtual gift. I kept meaning to go look but kept forgetting. Until now, when I see it's virtual snowflakes. In the funny coincidence department, real snowflakes were falling when we left work yesterday. Other than snow on the top of a single car traveling south, all traces of snow were gone by the time I was on my way to work this morning. This is fine by me. I like a good snowfall the day before Christmas, on Christmas, and the following day, but other than that, the snow's welcome to stay away.

Brr! It's just beginning to get cold here, no real snowflakes for us for a while yet (hopefully!)

Snow? I somehow missed seeing the snow. Not that I'm complaining.

I've just prepaid my lawn care service to do snow removal, and I won't mind at all if I don't get my money's worth. I've heard that this winter is supposed to be cold, but haven't heard any long-range forecasts about snow.

Yeah, big wet flakes. At least there were up in Auburn Hills when we left work. I don't recall seeing any when we got home but by then it was dark and I was very, very tired.

As for the winter weather forecast, googling around when it was time to pick a snow plowing firm (for the office) lead me to believe this will be a warmer than average winter with lots & lots of snow. I'm can't make up my mind whether I should hope my forecast was correct (because I talked the boss into signing up for pre-paid plowing rather than per-plow) or wrong (because then I won't have to deal with the white stuff).

I'll be perfectly happy if prepaying for snow removal prevents snow, the way carrying an umbrella prevents rain.
