Drive-by Update

It's been a busy few weeks. The work days haven't been anything to write home about, let alone bore my friends, although we did venture to Ypsilanti after work on Monday to have dinner with Jebra's parents.

The first weekend of August was spent in Ionia with my mom. The second weekend was spent in East Lansing at the Great Lakes Folk Festival. Last weekend was the Woodward Dream Cruise, but not only am I disinterested in the cruise, I had a sleep test the night before. I haven't been sleeping right for a while and I was hoping the test would reveal why and that the fix would be a simple adjustment to my CPAP machine. The test was not fun -- I had trouble falling asleep and then once I was asleep someone would come and wake me to reattach the leads or fit me with a different mask. I was not a happy camper when they woke me up at 5:30 with the news that they'd finished their readings and that it was time for me to go home. After a quick but thorough shower, I put on my day clothes and went home to bed.

I slept away the rest of the morning and then puttered around the house until dinner time, when we ventured out and bought a few groceries.

Sunday we drove to Williamston for the annual Dead Bird party. Someone brought a pair of photos from the 1991 Dead Bird and I realized our copy of them is still on display in our living room. Today I brought them to work with me put them on the scanner.
