To drkcherry, josan, and mbumby:

Thanks for the Christmas cards!

To everyone:

Do any of you spend much time naked or half-dressed at your place of work? I was thinking today, as I changed clothes here for the umpteenth time, You'd think I work on a porn set for the number of times I've stripped down at the office.

Mercy! Why do you need to change clothes where you work? [Shamefully ignorant of what work you do...]

The only time I've been undressed at work was when I was getting physical therapy in the "Wellness Center" in our building, and I changed into exercise clothes and back into work clothes before and after. I'd never be anything less than fully clothed on the job. For one thing, no matter the season the office is too cold! I shiver just seeing people wearing sandals or sleeveless shirts.

My question was misleading, as it isn't to perform my job that I change clothes, it's because I tend to behave as if being at the office is the equivalent of being at home. Although I do *try* to be a little more professional here (I'm actually at the office as I type this). I'm changing clothes to get ready for dance class (elsewhere), or because I'm going somewhere nice after work and I don't want to wear whatever shirt I've managed to drop something on during lunch that day, or because I noticed a hole in something I wore to work and want to repair it.

LOL! With a bit of I wish thrown in. (Do you have any idea how fit pole dancers are!?)

I usually tell people my job description is office mom. I peform a combination office manager, bookkeeper, receptionist, and help desk duties.

Heh. I spend more time wearing my sweater, coat, and wrapped around the heater. The same in summer sans the coat. :-)

When folks ask what you do for a living, do you wiggle your eyebrows and say "public relations"?

You're welcome -- & ditto!
