I'm going through email withdrawal. It isn't pretty. On the bright side, I finally started reading Ted Botha's book Mongo.

LOL - - if I didn't have internet, I might start reading real books again. I sent you a message last night, but there's nothing earth-shattering going on here. Went to Mom's today, and decorated her two trees out front for Easter, and of course she worked my ass off - - who knew my mom was such a drill sergeant? How are things there?

I've been thinking about Easter icons, so I can understand the urge to decorate. Not to mention I was just looking at Easter themed stuff at the store the other day.

Work was dull, I'm doing laundry, and my luck with computers has gone from bad to worse. My desktop machine doesn't want to boot and now my laptop can't find the internet (I'm on jebra's machine). He's at band practice tonight, so the soonest I expect him to be able to work on fixing my OS and email problems is tomorrow night. I expect he'll fix the internet thing tonight and that'll make me a little less grumpy.

I hadn't even thought about Easter icons! I should see what I can do. I feel for you about the pc problems - - our internet's been a little wonky tonight, very slow loading pages, or telling me "done" when in fact, it didn't load. It seems better now.

Speaking of looking at Easter stuff, Mom wanted two of those inflatable bunnies to go in front of the trees I decorated, but I can't find any, and it seems like last year, they were everywhere. The best I can come up with is a couple of Easter windsocks. And have you seen the camoflauge plastic eggs?

I'm still off email. Sat at my desk before going in to the office today and tried to bring up mutt -- got error messages and when my mail came up, everything was the wrong color -- for example, the background was a dirty pale mustard instead of white. This worried me enough that I immediately bailed out of the program and turned off the monitor.

As for store-bought easter stuff, I think I saw a display with one of those big inflatable rabbits, but I'm not sure the rabbit was actually for sale. If I can remember where I was when I saw it, I'll go back and find out.

I haven't seen the camouflage plastic eggs (although I did see the usual bright pink and purple ones at Walmart when we were there over the weekend). The camo ones make me think of Alex. Or, more properly, Walter, filling them with belgian and russian chocolates for his special someone.

Yes, that would be perfect for them!

The cd arrived today, btw - - or more likely Saturday or yesterday, but I hadn't checked the mail since Friday. I haven't checked the cd out yet, but I'm dying to!

I went to the doctor today, but nothing's wrong. I'll fill you in on the TMI chick stuff when your e-mail's back on.
