Watching Inspector Lewis (Quality of Mercy) and it's damn near killing me. The slash undertones. Or overtones in the case of Lewis' boss. I'm enjoying this far too much, even if part of the plot does involve Lewis' dead wife.
I think the Inspector Lewis eps are slashier than the episodes of Inspector Morse (Lewis is a spin-off, or since Morse eventually dies, Lewis is more an evolution in the series). If you like mysteries that involve paying attention and thinking, they are well worth giving a try.
Cool! You'll have to tell me what you think. Which ep will you start with? So far, Life Born of Fire is my favorite, so much so I watched it twice. (This is an accomplishment as I have no time and my @#$@~~!! Dish Network issued PVR has taken to erasing "protected" recordings.)
Well, it doesn't bother me to read books or watch a series out of order, so to me, you can start anywhere. And if you can get it still, I'd highly recommend watching Life Born of Fire. I'd say that's an essential episode to understanding Hathaway.
ETA: What's really pissing me off is that this PVR is a replacement that we've had for just three or four weeks.
