Two more scrapbook pages from this weekend

After leaving Colonial Kensington, we had dinner at the New Hudson Inn. Our friends mbumby, Marshall, and Jean went with us. It's right on Grand River and I've been curious about the place for years, but this was the first time we'd ever stopped. I want to go back. Soon.





On the way back to our cars, I spotted what I thought was a tree with red flowers. When I went for a closer look, I discovered that the flowers were groups of seeds. The others came over to find out what had caught my attention; none of us could identify the tree, so I took a few photos. Today, with the help of the web, I was able to identify it...
