My doctor wants me to keep a detailed record of my menstrual cycles now that I'm officially peri-menopausal. Knowing how skilled I am at misplacing small pieces of paper, I made a html version of the chart. Being comfortable with simple html, I should have no problem updating it -- providing I can remember where I keep the working copy.

If any of you wound find such a chart useful, I have put a blank copy on the web. You can find it here. (Note: the form is rather wide and you may need to change the orientation to Landscape in order for it to print properly.)

I could have done with that 4 months ago! (Mind you, as I've had to note something almost everyday on my scrappy paper version, I've had no chance to lose it!)

When I was in my late 30's I was determined to get to my 40's with my uterus. I had moon charts and noted on each day that I bled, with days I spotted marking just a small amount of red marker and on heavy days filled in the moon with red.
The other week I was cleaning out my files and found those moon charts from 20 some years ago. I bled more days of the month then I did not. I was sorry I waited so long and suffered so much before finally having a hysterectomy. I had endometreosis (however one spells it) that was strangling too much of my inners. Felt so much better after.
I kept my little charts.

I know a couple of women who say the same thing; they fought it a long time, and when they finally went ahead and had the procedure done, it released them from a whole lot of hurt.

I've been there a while myself, but no doc cares about it -- however I need to know what day of my month it is for other reasons, so I always have it noted in my day-timer. (If you wanted to have something on a not-small piece of paper rather than on the web, you could make notes on your real-calendar.)
