Those are really nice!

I don't get it. What's the "girly girl failure"? =>}

If you ask me, when it comes to being a girly-girl, I'm a complete failure. I was watching tv the other night when some woman confessed to having more than 100 pairs of shoes. I understand many women love shoes, but I believe I own less than two dozen, and that includes flip-flops, birkenstocks, garden clogs and athletic shoes. I have triple-pierced ears, but I wear captive ball rings in the lower two piercings on both ears and I don't change the upper earrings often -- generally only after one has fallen out and become lost. I own a surprising number of rings, necklaces, and bracelets, but there too either I won't wear them or I'll put something on and it'll stay there until I either break it or it falls off. I suspect I own a couple dozen dresses, but not all of them still fit, so I can pick from among the six that still do and that includes two I won't wear because they are ivory in color I'm afraid I'll stain them.

Ah. I thought there was supposed to be something in the page that meant girly girl failure. *g*

I'm like you. I don't see the attraction for shoes. I buy comfortable shoes and refuse to wear a heal. My "dress up" shoes are basically simple black loafers. I actually only own two dresses that I've had for years and MIGHT wear once a year.

I also have a lot of jewelry that I seldom wear these days.

It doesn't surprise me that we are a lot alike. =>}
