CSI: Miami season finale

Well, I'm annoyed. Both at the writers and at myself. I should have known that when the plot includes the murder of an adult film actress, I'd find myself subject to moralizing about the evils of porn.

I'm not sure which is worse, to have one of the main characters suggest that pornography inevitably leads to violence and murder, or for another to claim that addiction to pornography can result in "porn creep" -- the inability to perform sexually with one's real life sex partner.

Since "porn creep" was a term I'd never heard before, I decided to run a search on Google. The result? 234 matches -- and none of them concern erectile difficulties or problems with sexual performance.

I know the writers on forensic shows take liberties with the science, such as compressing the amount of time tests take to run or using computer programs that don't actually exist, but this is the first time I've caught them using a fictional medical or psychological condition.
