We had a pretty sleepy weekend at our house. jebra is recovering from pneumonia and I was starting to think he was turning into a feline. Every time I went to check on him, both he and the cats were curled up and asleep.

Last night I didn't feel like finishing the Jayne hat I've been working on and happened upon a bag containing the green cotton yarn I bought intending to knit an alien wash cloth. I got it out, found my size 7 needles, and set to work.

I wish I'd known about your desire for a Dr. Who scarf sooner, 'specially if it's for one like the ones Tom Baker wore. I made my own version of the Season 15 scarf back in the early '80s. The darn thing was so warm it doubled as a blanket, which I suppose explains why I very seldom wore it. I ended up giving it to a friend to use as a prop in his photography studio.

If you pick a pattern (http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com) and send me the yarn, I bet it wouldn't be hard to talk me into knitting it for you. :-)

You're quite welcome. And if it makes you feel any better, you do know that Tom Baker tripped on one of his and broke his shoulder, don't you? Besides being extremely warm, that's the other problem with Dr. Who scarves -- they're dangerous!
