As you can tell from today's scrapbook page, this has been a rough week. Even though we used our tickets to Avenue Q and went to see The Good, The Bad and The Ugly the following night, I've been trying to fight off whatever viral thing is going around. I haven't missed any work but I pretty much slept through the weekend and I've been moving slow ever since.

ETA on Feb. 12, 2016:

I just noticed there's a typo on our tickets! "Good, Bag and Ugly"

Scrapbook papers & elements from the kit The Best Is Yet To Come.

I'm sorry you're feeling bad. I'm fighting a cold, but other than being congested and sneezing a lot, it's not too bad.

Did I remember to ask you for your snail mail address? I want to send you a Valentine's Day card. You can PM the info to me if you don't want it visible to the rest of the world. (Please!)

I hope your cold stays a cold. Mine started off as more of a cough with horrible congestion and although I seem to be improving I still feel awful. This is not a good week to be sick as the FCB's Valentine Dinner Dance is Friday and I'm going to be around a ton of people.

I felt so bad I even skipped knitting guild last night. That's the first meeting I've missed in the two years I've been a member.

Anyway, here's a speedy recovery to both of us!

Thanks! How's Robert doing? I've been worrying about him.

He's doing okay, more or less. He's been having angina - pain in his heart - for a while now, it's an off and on thing. But if you asked him what bothers him the most, he'd say his varicose veins. His regular doc gave him some medicine for that but it makes him feel really tired, so that's not good, either. Still waiting for the cardiologist appointment - when that will happen, nobody knows. And it's ridiculous, because Robert KNOWS this guy from work, but it's so hard to get the insurance companies to move on doing anything.

In the meantime, he is still working, still playing his computer game (he used to be really into World of Warcraft but now he plays Star Wars: The Old Republic - so do I, actually) and rocking along. He spends a lot of time laughing at our cats, but then, they are kinda nutty.

I'll keep you posted, thanks for asking. *hugs*
